Beautiful landscape to see and learn about the history of the place. Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable of the land and the home. We stayed a night as a getaway for our anniversary. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. You get a flashlight to walk the grounds at night if you stay in a room. Of course, this doesn't include admittance to the mansion itself. We did a separate tour the following morning which was well worth it. Recommend a visit if you haven't been (I have not, but my wife has previously). The restaurant is wonderful. Stopped for breakfast (complimentary with room) and stayed for lunch before we left. Gift shop has many wonderful treasures to get as gifts for friends and family. And again, staff was polite and wonderful. Would absolutely go again. Wished we could've spent another night.
OMG! If you have not visited here you do not know what you're missing out on! Just beautiful scenery! The Southern Oaks are gorgeous! The Tour of the mansion is a must! There is so much History here!!!nWe decided to stay overnight in one of the Cottages and we're able to walk the grounds in the evening hours!!! So peaceful and quiet. Please do visit the Gift Shop they have lots of pretty pretty's!!!nYou will definitely not be disappointed! Love Oak Alley❤ufe0f
