Helen is just a beautiful quaint little Swiss Alps town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northern GA. A very cool experience, great little shops with handmade goods and treats app . We ate at The Heidelberg restaurant. Cool little building with a pub on the first floor, food was delicious, great service, and fun atmosphere.
This town is so enchanting and memorable. I highly suggest anyone within an hour or two from Helen check it out. Good food, drink, music and people.
We love Helen! The shops are more expensive compared to places like Gatlinburg or Cherokee but some of the finds are more precious. We definately enjoy Tim's toy shop and the candy places.
Lots of good shopping but store keepers weren't very friendly
