Scam Alert !!nMr. Long is not the nice gentleman that this town tries to display him as. He is very unprofessional. He had my tax paperwork for over a month and never filed them. He and his employees kept changing the information about my return. They knew they had not filed my taxes but they told me to keep an eye on the irs refund tracker tool. Then he told me he was going to charge me a $400 expedite fee for my return that he still had not filed. He likes to play games and beat around the bush. The positive reviews on here are from his family and friends. Not realistic reviews. They refuse to keep friendship and business matters separate. I do not recommend him. He tried to charge me $900 for a return he didn't submit to the irs. I have now missed the recent stimulus check because he played around and didn't do his job. I will never go here again. P.s. he likes to have his employees who are elderly ladies mostly call you and give you different stories because he doesn't like talking to his customers directly.

We have been blown away with the knowledge of and benefits in using Long & Co for our taxes. Best accountant we've ever had.

CAUTION!!! SCAM ARTIST!!!nnMr. Long seems like a nice man until you become a client. He didn’t do a thing and then tried to charge us thousands. I know it seems unbelievable, but its really that simple. I had to threaten to file a complaint against his CPA license to get him release the LLC paperwork that we had to file ourselves! And then he still tried to send us a bill!!!nnH&R Block would be a better and more professional service than this circus.nnRead the other reviews carefully. They are from family members of Mr. Long, not clients.nnI would rather deal with the IRS myself than go through this nightmare again.

I found the service wonderful. All of my taxes were filed correctly and on time. Roy Long treated me with respect and the office staff were very kind and inviting. Clearly the previous reviewer has no grasp of what it really takes to file taxes and manage accounts, which is this company’s specialty and why Mr. Long has won best CPA 6 years in a row.
