What a quant little town! The people here are wonderful, polite, and generally good natured and welcoming. The area is old, some of the buildings are even pre-civil war era! The places look as old as they are, but that just adds to the charm. If you get a chance to travel here, take the chance! You will not regret it, I can promise. Don't expect a lot of excitement though; life just seems to move a little slower here...

Website is not user friendly! You need to take a look at Fayette County's Clerks site! You still have to come into your office to look at deeds. You need to update!!!

I have been sitting at the court square cafe and I saw 5 people get pulled over in a matter of 45 minuets. Please be careful when driving around the round about.

If you black do not ride threw this country red neck racist town...on my way back from visiting relatives from Columbus GA ....got into the town of Greenville GA...and came across an intersection with a stop sign...after stopping and carefully procedding threw havent even drove 20 Ft. and I was pulled over and the female officer said I was speeding...so I ask her how fast I was going ...she had the nerve to tell me to hold on..let her go and check and went to the car and came back and said I was going 55 in a 35..20 ft. Is not enough time to get up to 55 mph in that short of a distance ...also I received a ticket for noise pollution (radio) was up loud...so she say and which it probably was...and that was the real reason she pulled me over in the first place...but she knew that would not stand alone in court so she gave me a bogus speeding ticket..cause I was targeted...question? ...if I was going 55 mph windows are up ..how can you say my music was too loud....ha ..like I said if you a black person ..stay away from that town don't even drive threw it ...they have a population of 800 people...and 750 are white...!!!!!
