I was referred here by a master jeweler for my damaged candlesticks, which are a family heirloom.nI showed them to at least three metalsmiths; none would touch them. Guia was able to repair them masterfully. Turnaround is 8-10 weeks, and it's totally worth the wait. I highly recommend Estes-Simmons for restoration or repair.

My recently departed aunt had given us silverware some years ago. Unfortunately, it was in a state of significant disrepair and had been damaged during shipping when she sent it to us as well. We took it to Estes-Simmons and what can I say but wow! You can tell that Gia really loves his craft. It shows in the attention to detail, his ability to explain clearly the nature of repairs, and his embracing of challenging projects. I could not be happier with the results. The difference between the before and after is stunning.

I recently had Estes-Simmons restore a 130 year old sterling Tiffany & Co tea set. It was in truly terrible condition with lots of deep, ugly dents and bent finials. One tea pot had its finial broken off completely and lost. Another tea pot had its handle come apart. And there were monograms. Gia, the silversmith, must be a magician. When the set was returned to us, it looked like it was brand new. It was just gorgeous. Gia had also created a new, sterling silver finial for the chocolate pot that was identical to the original. And the monograms? We cannot tell which side they were on! He even gold-lined the sugar, cream, and waste. Cyndi, Doug and Gia were all so kind, helpful, and professional. And the price was more than reasonable. They made an estimate based on the photos I emailed them, and they stuck to the estimate when the work was finished, even though they actually had to do more restoration than they expected. What a great find! Thanks to Whitehall Antiques in Chapel Hill for recommending them- one of the outstanding Antiques stores in the Southeast.

Gia is the best in his business! Repair was done much better than I expected. Dedication to his work is unbelievable. Highly recommend!

Gia did an amazing job restoring a 1940's Mid Century Modern floor lamp that had dents, discoloration, scratches, etc. to the brass shade and base back to its original condition. I was very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend his service !!
