Savannah Car Wash

Used to be a great car wash who took pride in the finished product. Now, they have raised price from $17.99 to $25.00 for the basic wash and it’s nowhere good as it used to be. Last 3 washes I had to go home and redo my windows. I think they forgot how to clean window glass.

They're ok. If you want details it's better to find something else or do it yourself. This is just ok for a rinse off.

Stopped in at the Savannah Car Wash for the first time today. I chose the Deluxe Condition package and was more than pleased with the service I received.nnHonestly I believe the service I received was worth more than I paid!

I didn't even get a chance to schedule a complete service detail at the Abercorn location. I went through all the prompts TWICE just to get transferred to the Abercorn location and then hung up on TWICE. The first time, the phone rang about 2 times before the person hung up on me. The second time the person let it ring about 8 times before hanging up, again. I'm really disappointed that this happened because I've heard great things about this place.

I normally go to the Ogeechee location but I live closer to this one, so I thought I would give it a shot. Big mistake. The worst part was visible scratches being left all over my clear coat from the machines. Even the process of paying and getting in to the car wash is confusing. You need to display your receipt on your dashboard even though the computer automatically logs your plate # and each car enters the gate in a specific order. You don’t have to do this at the Ogeechee location- you just pay and go and don’t have to bother with taking a receipt. Once I reached the end of the wash, the stop/go sign changed to “go” and I naturally figured this meant it was ok to go. However, the automated track seemed to hang on to my car afterward and make a loud clanking noise as I pulled away. There was an attendant at the end who gave me a dirty look as if going when the sign said “go” was wrong. Is there some quirky problem with the machine that they just expect everyone to know about? Are we supposed to wait at the end for the attendant to do something? Maybe put a sign up and indicate that instead of expecting people to know. The Ogeechee location is much more streamlined and can be operated with basic common sense. More importantly, I’ve never had scratches left in my car after going through the wash at that location. It’s worth the drive out of the way, even if you don’t live in the area. I will not be returning the Abercorn location.
