The most extensive exhibit of petrified wood you will likely ever encounter. Many wonderful and unusual fossils to appreciate including a complete baby mammouth a clutch of dinosaur eggs and more. Quite a few mineral specimens and crystals of all sorts. Well worth your time to examine and share this free to the public exhibit with friends and family.
This museum is awesome! Small but fabulous. So many fossils and gemstones like I've never seen before. And dinosaurs. Not easy to find but so worth it
Not open yet because of the pandemic.
Amazing! I can’t believe I’ve lived here all this time without visiting this museum. My kids, who love rocks, minerals, and prehistoric artifacts, were freaking out the whole time.
GO! If you like petrified wood, minerals, and fossils, you will not be disappointed! No, it's not a large space, but rather than lots of little specimens, there are fewer *very large* specimens. The 30,000 lb Sequoia log outside near the parking alone is worth the visit. Have fun!
