Sunset Bay Rental Cape Cod

We recently stayed at this beautiful home with our family of 8 and the accommodations were more than we could have hoped for. The house was extremely clean, well-decorated, and had every amenity imaginable. The property is also gorgeous, with an amazing view and plenty of outside patio furniture, a fire pit, and Jacuzzi. We also discovered a delightful path less than 1/4 mile from the home, leading to a breathtaking view of the marsh and an amazing tree with a tire swing (kids were thrilled). The owner was incredibly responsive to our needs and communicated with us frequently prior to and during our stay, answering questions and providing suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc. She was fair and honest throughout the entire process and is clearly committed to ensuring that her guests have an awesome stay. I highly recommend this rental and hope that my family and I can visit again soon.

Great communications with owner—extremely responsive. House exactly as advertised with lots of information provided including local gems for outside activities (dog friendly beaches, biking and kayaking spots) and restaurants for curbside and outside dining. Loved the nearby trails to Gray's Beach! Outdoor space at the house wonderful for games with a huge yard and ideal for sitting outside and reading or just enjoying the view!

What a great week at Sunset Bay! We stayed in the smaller of the two homes, which was perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Quick drive to Gray's Beach, beautiful views from the backyard and nearby trails for walking/running/biking. Nancy was very responsive, both in advance of our stay and during, and the house was very clean, all COVID restrictions seen to. The one small draw is the mosquitoes due to the wetland beyond the yard, but if you're one of those lucky folks that they don't get after then it's idyllic!

My five days in this gorgeous house (the posted photos don't do it full justice) was one of the best holiday experiences I've ever had. The house is perfectly located, overlooking one of the Cape's beautiful wild expanses of marshland and, shimmering in the distance, the ocean. When you're there, sipping wine on the beautiful back deck, watching a glorious Cape Cod sunset, you will feel as though you've escaped from everything . At sunrise you can sit, if the mood takes you, on a deck chair almost on the edge of the marshes, drinking in the splendours that Cape Cod has to offer. At night you can sit in front of a fire - either outside, in the fire pit, or inside, in the cozy sitting room - and you will think you're far away in some exclusive nature reserve. But, in fact you're only a short drive (or even a walk) away from some of the Cape's best restaurants, for which Nance, the host, provides helpful and accurate recommendations. The house is just perfect. Sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, every detail thought out and executed. Three spacious and beautifully-appointed bedrooms upstairs (each with attached bath), equipped with the most comfortable beds I've been in (like the ones you get at fancy hotels). There is also a fully furnished basement downstairs. The main bedroom overlooks the wild marshes outside, and is so beautiful that it is itself worth the price of the rental! The kitchen is fully equipped and has every single amenity you could wish for, if you feel like staying in. There is not a single negative that I could think of. It's an expensive rental, but worth every penny. We were there in late summer/early autumn, so did not use the hot tub outside, but I'm sure that would only add to the many luxurious pleasures of this Airbnb. We were also only one couple, but I'd imagine if you were a family with children, or two families, this would be a perfect option for you. It really was the most perfect, magical, stay , all the more appreciated because of the months of confinement and difficulty that we've all suffered during the covid. The home was beautiful and well kept. The location is great. The yard is wonderful for family fun or just sitting outside and looking at the view. Having access to kayaks, bikes, and beach chairs was also a bonus. It was wonderful being there.nNance was a great help & very generous, she's wonderful. We will be staying again.
