I can’t say enough good things about this group.nnI had total hip replacement surgery in June, and had a goal to be in Hawaii kite surfing by October. I was very skeptical in the early stages of rehab, needing crutches or a cane for the first month, but Rich and his staff kept assuring me that I’d be ready. They had me progressing at a slow, steady pace, holding me back from pushing myself and helping me avoid any setbacks. At about 8 weeks, progress started to happen much more quickly. After 12 weeks of therapy, I was back on the water kite surfing. 3 weeks later I was in Hawaii, and my hip was never an issue. In addition to kiting, I was able to hike, bike and swim with no restrictions.nnI’ve been to more than my share physical therapists for various sports-related injuries over the years (I’m 60 years old don’t know when to quit).nI can honestly say that the treatment I received at OSPT is the most effective I’ve ever had. Their combination of exercises and hands-on manipulation works. I had first seen them last year for a neck injury and got much better relief than I had gotten from first going to 2 chiropractors and another physical therapist.nnI’m done with my basic rehab now but have continued on a program with them for the next two months with the hope of playing hockey again by January. We’ll see…

I have used OSPT for two different injuries. I saw them first for a hand injury(Dina) and then Bob Reese for back pain. I need to say that I have had PT in Western Massachusetts and also Colorado. The dedication, knowledge and attention is far superior at OSPT. I am the type of person that pushes for more exercises to do at the gym or at home as I want to get a full recovery!! Both Dina and Bob responded well to my requests and I am most pleased with the results. As a separate note - if you ever want to know what surgeon is the best in your area, just ask a PT!! They see the results of all the local surgeons!!

1st visit 12/26/17: very helpful, clear view of steps, evaluate, and assess improvement/ or why not. Providence Veterans Hospital covering on Cape PT vs traveling 2xweek.
