This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I stayed here for 1 night Feb 13. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning. The dinner was amazing. I am vegetarian and every dish they served was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also very tasty. I would definitely stay here again and encourage anyone needing a nice local escape to visit The Ashby Inn and Restaurant.
Fabulous and charming little inn. Highly recommend snagging room with a balcony because the view is amazing. We had the most delicious 4-course dinner for Valentine's Day. Don't skip the complimentary breakfast either as it was equally fabulous and so much more than I expected, both in quality and quantity. We can't wait to visit again in the spring!
This is truly a hidden gem! I was looking for an intimate ,relaxing ,affordable getaway and i must confess this place exceeded my expectation. My stay at the inn was around Christmas time and from the moment i checked in , it was truly breathtaking. The sunrise and sunset views from my room, which was the Lafayette ,the warm, cozy ambience with the fireplace was epic. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were scrumptious and my servers were also helpful and kind. I loved every moment at Ashby, i honestly wanted to stay longer. I loved how unique, quaint and intimate the place is, the customer service was also amazing 10/10. Amanda was of great help with everything and made my trip memorable.
Top notch service! Our room (West Dominion) had a beautiful view of the sunset over the mountains, but it was at the top of a tight staircase.nnDinner was amazing, we got to sit in the Tap Room which was very cozy. All of the food and drinks were excellent and all of the staff were first class.nnThe included breakfast was also fantastic, my wife particularly enjoyed the quiche of the day.nnWill definitely return!
I cannot say enough about The Ashby Inn! What a wonderful place to get away and enjoy quietude and wine. It is centrally located in Fauquier County wine country. The restaurant is 5-star dining with an amazing staff. Breakfast is complementary and high lift!
