This is a very special and historic Inn and Tavern/Restaurant in the Shenandoah Valley. New owners Rich and Angie Orndorff along with their staff (which includes chef Travis Ross and bar manager Lance Jennette) have created a truly wonderful experience, and they're just getting started. We absolutely loved our dinner last night and can hardly wait to return. There are a lot of surprises to look forward to... Including enjoying a beautiful large patio, special rooms and bars, and the Summer Kitchen built in 1742.
The decor is beautiful and reflects a lot of history. The staff is very polite, welcoming, and the service is on par. Haven't tried the food yet so I will get back to you on that.
Great atmosphere, very very friendly staff. Will definitely be back. This visit brought back a lot of fond memories. Food was just an added pleasant bonus!!
Food and atmosphere was amazing. Recommend giving it a try you will not be disappointed. My family loved it and the Chef is amazing.
Highly recommend staying here. Extremely clean rooms, friendly staff, food is phenomenal. Only complaint I didn't stay longer lol. But if you're just looking for a place to eat I also recommend as prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely return.
