This is a nice hotel for a great price. The cleaning staff was nice she actually tried to carry a conversation. The front desk staff could do better. Most of the time they did not even say hi unless you initiated it. Also, we were not even made aware of the check out policy. Thankfully, it's on the back of your room door.
Great hotel. Very nice and very clean. I would stay there again. My only concern was there are signs posted everywhere about wearing a mask and I just feel it is up to the staff to make sure all customers are wearing on. This is so important and we need to make sure we enforce it. What you do in your room once you get in it is your business but when you are walking around the hotel that mask should be on. That really was my only issue so I just hope they take head to it and stay on top of what's right. Not to mention we picked a day where they were fixing water pipes so water got turned off at 10 am luckily we were checking out but it was good we made it through that. ud83dude06 ud83eudd23 lol. Stayed at this hotel before and it was great. This visit Mariam at the front desk was less than helpful. Very rude and forced our daughter to use her credit card for checking in before us. I had already used my card on the app and messaged the hotel in the app to notify them our Active Military Daughter would be checking in first and they acknowledged this.
I stayed here the weekend of the 20th of February and after two days I noticed an additional charge of $20 to my account when none of this was mentioned at booking when I had paid upfront over the website. I had also returned my room keys and no damage was done to my room yet I was being charged a fee of some sort. Not to mention at check out we stood there for at least a minute to see if anything was needing from our end and the front desk gentleman saw us but continued towards the elevators and disappeared... do not stay here, you will be scammed and charged.
The Marriot in Winchester was superb. The staff were attentive and the room was comfortably designed and clean. My most enjoyable experience though was eating the wings from the bistro on the first floor. The particular sauce used is akin to Lou Malnati's in Chicago. And, it is so hard to find that kind of buffalo sauce with the extra hint of vinegar that clears your sinuses.
