Yes, I called over 80 times when they were scheduling Covid-19 vaccines at the church. When I finally got through I was told that the 1000 doses had been scheduled. However they did give me an appt. for this morning ( one week later).nGotta say that they were very organized, friendly, professional and efficient. They took in only those with the specific appt. time ( 8:30 am for me), two at a time, physically apart. Took temperature ( with a virtual thingy) checked photo id,etc. then passed us on to the waiting room. Two mins later we were escorted to the individual area for the quick interview( allergies, etc) and then delivered the long awaited shot!ud83dude07ud83dudc4fud83cudffc. 15 mins of post shot wait time in another room and then “So long for now. See you same time,same place 4 weeks from now!”nThanks good people!

forget about calling the health department for the vaccine. I started calling on Feb, 4th at 0740 till 1:30pm and I have called over 49 times. The first 2 hours. The voicemail stated to call on the 4th but since then no one has answered.

Suffolk Health Department is the most inept organization I have ever had the displeasure of using. My 90 year old mother and l went to get tested for COVID-19, after being exposed to the virus and later displaying symptoms. The testing was from 11-1 at one site and from 3-5 at another. We went to the first site an hour early 10:00 AM. The officers on duty said that it had closed down. Okay, I’ll accept that. It can happen. However, when we went to the 2nd site before 12:45 PM, we learned that it was also “booked up.” When I asked how this could have happened? They weren’t supposed to start the testing until 3:00 PM. I was told that people arrived early...why even have the testing sites when the amount of kits you have is woefully inadequate? This is incompetence at its finest. Someone is not doing their job, and as one reviewer said, “10 on Your Side” needs to review the workings of this agency....something is wrong.

Don't even bother.....nobody home and they like it that way.
