Oh my gosh!!! The library manager is a demonic force hired to taunt little children. She tried popping my special needs son & I had to approach her & nearly call the police. She treats her staff like elementary kids in front of us & it's sad. I tried getting her boss info but the card she gave me & name was a fake because I haven't heard anything back from my voicemail complaint.
The Horace C Downing Branch of the Norfolk Public Library is cosy, comfortable and has that silence that can only be found in a public library. I use the computers here to work from and I have to say I get more done here than I do at home.
Newly renovated, brightly lite and KIDS ZONE is beautiful. Nice and quite, security is fair and librarians are awesome. Otherwise, a safe, educational and clean environment.
I love this library and all of the activities. It is a busy place and the kids love and need it.
