Especially found the staff at the kids desk/info most helpful - not to mention we miss the kids librarians for toddlers and preschool reading hour each week!
Great place to research, and photocopy! Currently (06/30/20), the upstairs is closed for remodeling, and the public computers aren't available, nor is the adult non-fiction section. You can request a specific item from upstairs, but you can't browse to find it. Only one entrance is open! The Virginia history room was open, which was my main reason for going there. As of 11/2020, they're back open upstairs.
I go in every once in a while to stay up to date on how the Library operates and the staff has always been extremely polite and respectful but inside their parking lot is a recycling dumpster that you can place your cardboard boxes, empty plastic containers
Clean facility, pleasant staff and frequent sanitation for COVID19 prevention.
Very unfriendly staff; we felt unwelcome to even be in there. Otherwise, nice building and good selection of books and movies.
