gr8 place to catch a game! nice layout! Go Dukes!
Went for men's game. Atmosphere was good. Some great fans. Odd layout for stadium but you could see the game ok. Only complaint would be parking. Yes they have a bus, but it is quite a ways away and the parking lot right by it for special permit parking only. Perhaps give option for paying to park there so you are closer as lot was not even close to being full.
First time going. We went for a local high school graduation. Parking was easy in and out. The Convocation center was nice and clean. It was able to accommodate a large number of people without any difficulty. The seats are terribly uncomfortable and my seat was actually broken (before I sat on it). We had good seats though and didn't want to move. 4 stars.
Awesome time at the game! The center was in immaculate shape despite its age. The staff was polite and respectful. Even the police were fun to talk to! We set up a table with some marketing materials and had a blast. Really enjoyed interviewing with Dave Thomas on the radio. Had an absolute awesome time.
The soon to be replaced, Convo is a treasure at JMU. While old and outdated, many fun events happen here. JMU and other staff are always friendly and welcoming. Must pay attention to parking restrictions for events.
