First, the food is great! However, I strongly recommend you check your order before leaving. The QA and customer service just aren't there. I have ordered a basket with one type of fish and gotten a totally different fish; I have also gotten several different fishes in the same order.nnThey could also use some training in logistics. A couple of times I've been here, they didn't have hot sauce, there was no tea (this is right after opening), they have been of other food items as well.nnCustomer service again...no one answers the phone, ever. There usually isn't someone at the front counter to take your order...you have to go to the kitchen door and let them know you're there.nnBut the food is what keeps me going back. Of course, if I could find catfish as good somewhere else, I'd certainly go there.

Wow, there is nothing better than a southern comfort meal. The Skrimp Shack is a great essence of your grand-mother's Sunday meals. While the meal was great, the collard greens could use a little salt restraint. Overall a great meal! What I ordered, fried whiting, fried okra, collard greens and Mac and cheese.

I have to say that when this restaurant opened it was excellent.. now the last few times that we’ve been in there. Staff is very rude. Even though there was no one in the store ... there was nobody up front and they where screaming in the back ... when they did finally pay attention to the fact that I was there she was mad about it ....And I’m not going to give my money to be yelled at by Some kid with an attitude behind the counter.... and I always get large orders for my entire family ..she then proceeded to get into an argument with the Cooking staff... as she prepared food with her mask not on her face ..... I just walked out ..... I really hope you get things straightened out there The food is usually good ....
