The front desk folks at APT were so friendly and helpful even the first time I walked in the door. PT Karen knows her stuff! She does an excellent job of explaining the physical “mechanics” of what is causing my pain and I appreciate her hands on therapy. Not only did she print out my at-home exercises, she emailed me a personalized link to video clips reminding me how to do my specific exercises correctly. Their convenient location and great parking is also worthy of mention. A big THANK YOU to all the fine people at APT.

Highly recommended if you need PT! Karen played an important role in my rehabilitation after a total knee replacement in January 2021. She was a cheerleader and a coach. Karen was patient and caring, yet persistent: she pushed me to do more than I thought I could, which gave me the confidence I needed to push myself. When I worried about specific symptoms, she reassured me they were normal for TKR and explained why I had them. At 9 weeks post-surgery I was able to ride my bike for 6 miles, thanks in part to Karen’s skill. Everyone in the office at Appalachian Physical Therapy made PT an enjoyable experience. And don’t be concerned about therapy during the pandemic: I always felt safe because everyone wore masks and all equipment was sanitized after use.

The treatment and everyone there was outstanding! Everyone helping me through the process of recovery was very welcoming. They all made an effort to know you on a personal level as you are going through each stage of progression. This was a very comfortable environment to be in and will come back if I have any other injuries.

I highly recommend Appalachian Physical Therapy. I had 2 hip replacements in 4 months and did all of my rehab with this group. The professional expertise and friendly, caring atmosphere that is exhibited by everyone in this office cannot be beat.

Drugs mask pain and suffering due to physical problems. You cannot put a value on fixing someone’s physical ailments via PT. I’m 52 and have several injuries over the last 10 years that severely hindered my ability to function day to day function. With thorough questioning and attention to detail Appalachian PT has been able to get me back to 100% and doing the things I need and want to do. They are friendly, knowledgeable and effective!!! I wish I could keep them in my medicine cabinet. ud83dude1c
