I was a patient of Dr. Mckinnon's for many years. He's more THAN EARNED his retirement and I had a great Doctor. He's missed greatly. He and Dr. Stewart were the founders of this practice at least 30 years ago.nMedicine has changed - one MD made a point of fussing ME out when I was having an asthma attack - and didn't call the day before - it wasn't bad until Saturday when I called.nMonetary based medicine leaves much to be desired!nGreat office staff, great practice manager, Great Retired Dr. Mackinnon! Thank you!!

It’s communication and we all know that’s the key to EVERYTHING!!!! I feel as though my concerns about my health are not valuable to any one but me and if I’m correct the doctors office and answering service should do everything they can to make patient feel better about any situation. This has nothing to do with the office staff or my NP, but everything to do with the answering service. They are rude and disrespectful and they make any patient want to find new doctors. The office doesn’t close to 5pm so why would the answering service be taking the call at 4:45pm. These times we are in right now are crazy and not only do we have to deal with all of this but to have to be worried about your own health is STRESSFUL, and when you can’t get through because of some rude or disrespectful person is ABSURD and UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I would never go back here even if I was payed to my dr no longer works for them I waited months for an appointment and then was given a very inpatient rude doctor. Needless to say I see why ppl don’t like black health care workers and here’s another black doctor that can’t hide her attitude. I walked out before even finishing my appointment and the doctor got mad because I told her I’m not coming Back there and not to bill my insurance because all they did was my weight and I only can receive 1 physical a year so I will be calling and checking. LongnStory short do better

My my my have times changed, I was a patient of Dr McKinnon, since his retirement I have been treated like my health doesn't even matter anymore. Receptionist Kayla and others are just not nice people. I'm looking for another PCP as we speak. Just terrible there now.

I am writing on behalf of my sister, Joanne Roper, who is a patient of Dr. MacKinnon and she wanted to provide feedback from her visits. She is 76 and has numerous medical issues. She has been his patient for many years and really appreciates his patience and willingness to see her on a moment's notice. He has followed her illnesses over the years and has always taken the time to check her thoroughly to provide an accurate diagnosis. Over the years, his sincere kindness to her has been noticed and thoroughly appreciated. He continues to provide her excellent care with the utmost importance. She wanted the Internists of Churchland group to be aware of the ability of this doctor and what an asset he is to this practice.
