There is a very strong mold smell in the hotel and it seems rundown with not elevator.It was around 10 pm and we got woken up every time a door was slammed since the whole room vibrated until pass midnight when it seemed to stop.I do not recommend this hotel!!

We were traveling from NC to VT to avoid holiday flying risks and this was a perfect stop along the way. The beds we clean, warm, and comfortable, the curtains were completely light blocking, the hotel clearly had a number of people staying but all was quiet. Everyone we saw was in a mask, which was great, as we were driving to our parents in hopes of being safer virus wise. Everything was clean. The person at the front desk, Gherna, was polite and helpful, even though we were checking in close to midnight. I wouldn’t pick out the wallpaper or carpet for myself, but for 60 dollars, it was surprisingly well decorated/furnished. One wall was completely covered by a photo of a waterfall, which is pleasant and much less distopian than the classic hotel paintings that hang above the beds. The TV was huge, there was a microwave, and a large mini fridge. It was easy to change the room temp to what you wanted. Breakfast was modified due to covid, but I was pleased with my egg and cheese english muffin. In all, it’s not a place I would go for, say, an extended bachelorette party, but it was perfect for what we needed it for.

Honestly, I've stayed here a few times and never had a problem, but my last stay was absolutely unacceptable. My boyfriend was in the shower and the smoke detector started going off so we were moved to a different room, it was a suite so we were super appreciative. The morning of checkout at 8:44 a.m. exactly, my room door had opened and shut. I immediately jumped up and freaked out of my sleep because my dog was staying with us and my mom mode kicked in. My boyfriend called the front desk about it, and the owner just said that the housekeeper came in our room thinking we weren't there, and that she had knocked first. Which I know for a fact to be false because my dog would have barked and woke me up. not the door being opened. and the owner just shrugged it off. Either way, if checkout is at 11 then why am I not allowed to still be sleeping at 9 ?
