Great place!!! Things you need to be aware of though... This is right next to a naval air station so you will have planned flying overhead all day, but it drops of for the night and weekend for the most part. Also you will be parking on dirt and grass. Not a huge deal (most of us have boondocked) but being blocks for your landing gear. People are nice, friendly, and helpful. Overall great place to stay!!!
Great campground. Nice and hidden. Very large. Our stay it rained the entire visit and the park does flood a lot everywhere. And it gets very muddy. Our site was not level and gravel as stated. Very muddy and flooded throughout the entire park. Even the roads flood.
Gerald at the front desk is fantastic! He’s always so kind and polite. The campground is great love the heated pool they had this year and love that they come by to pick up trash right at your site. Definitely recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay. Our cabin was very comfortable and clean and for a great price. The amenities are great as well including the 80 degree heated pool. We will be planning all of our camping trips here in the future.
I was only here visiting but overall the park was nice! It was kept up and seemed well maintained. And from what I heard the pricing wasn't too bad either!
