Great place to explore nature n do a trail walk. Do the tour ! Very informative ! Interesting trivia facts about the Dismal Swamp! Sighting of black bear, possum etc etc.

Awesome park to drive or hike around, especially in fall and winter in order to avoid the heat, humidity and bugs of summer. There are dirt roads to drive. Trails to hike. Boardwalks through the swamp areas. Research its history online which is really worth learning about.

Lots of wildlife, was expecting to see black bear, but didn't when we visited, hopefully next time. Worth checking it out though
