I guess I'm biased since I was baptized here. But part of a healthy Catholic Cluster Community. Two very good priests there right now.
I am glad to see that St. James restored it's Catholic character by the recent restoration. It's a shame it did not bring back the beautiful old altar railing and the old crucifix. Many people left the parish in the 80's when it tore up the church with a lot of Protestant foolishness. A good number like my family joined St. Joseph's Parish in Chesterfield where the Latin Mass is celebrated with three Masses on Sunday. I hope St. James will be blessed with new members now it is truly Catholic again.
Pleasant place for reflecting thoughts.
The Parishioners and Pastors are very warm and welcoming.
It's a great Church in Hopewell if you're Catholic.
