My wife and I have were looking hard for someone to do the interior painting of our home. Paint It LLC went above and beyond our expectations. They assured us on every step of the process and when they were done, I felt like I was living in a brand new home. We will definitely recommend and use them in the future!

Paint It LLC did a wonderful job in my home. They were responsive, showed up when they said they would, and did an immaculate job fixing imperfections on my walls. I will definitely be using their services again.

If you are looking for a painter, do yourself a favor and call these guys! I couldn't be happier with the results of my new paint job. They protected all of my new floors and furniture and left the place cleaner than they arrived.

I am a career professional, an artist, and work for one of Virginia’s largest general contractors. Consequently, I know something about paint and painting. While Paint it, LLC asserts it is an experienced and professional painting company, unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth.nnI hired Paint It, LLC to paint the entire interior of my townhouse. I moved in last June, and was looking forward to making this house my own. I received three other estimates, but the two young fellows from Paint It, LLC seemed to be eager to make a name for themselves. They appeared to be detail-oriented, and had great reviews on Facebook and other social media, so I thought I would give them a chance. Luckily, I knew the importance of having a strong contract in place. They did not finish the job, and left my walls in terrible shape.nnBy day two I could tell Paint It LLC did not know what they were doing, and did not respect me or my home. It was clear they were using a roller with the wrong thickness or “nap,” because the roller was applying an excessively thick layer of paint and leaving a wrinkled, “orange peel” effect on my walls. My townhouse was built in 2016. The walls were smooth and pristine. There could not have been a better prepared surface. Yet when I returned home after work on the second day, the walls for the guest bathroom, my upstairs hallway, and the stairwell had the texture and appearance of orange peel.nnI immediately emailed them, sending pictures, and politely asked them to do no further work until they had fixed the existing walls. The next morning they appeared and said nothing was wrong and almost immediately started packing up their materials asking to be paid for the “work” they had completed. When I said “no,” not until the existing walls were fixed, they started shouting in front of my house and left.nnI have since had a wonderful contractor complete the painting of my interior. However, to repair the existing walls painted by Paint It LLC, the contractor said it would be very expensive in labor to repair (due to sanding). Not able to afford this, I have now undertaken the sanding myself, and bought another two very expensive gallons of Benjamin Moore in order to redo those walls. At one point in my stairwell the walls reach 16-feet high. So now, on the weekends, I am working on my own to sand and paint the walls of the bathroom and the hallway to fix what they did. If those walls were even slightly acceptable, I would not have wasted my time.nnNot only was the painting unacceptable, they dripped paint on furniture and floors, and incredibly, even dented in the top of my new dryer by standing on it.nnFinally, after they walked out on the job, without asking, they posted photographs of my master bedroom on Facebook, which is an invasion of my privacy, and included a review falsely quoting me saying they did an “absolutely marvelous” job and stating how amazing it feels to hear such high praise.nnThis is a cautionary tale, with lessons learned. Beware of social media comments; frequently, they’re friends and relatives. If you hire a small company without extensive track record, you run a risk.nnI wanted to give two young painters a chance. That proved to be a very expensive mistake.
