When I called to see if they were taking new patients because my husband needed a primary care physician they asked me what was wrong with him. I explained he has joint and back problem s which he has had for many years. I also explained that he has had a cough for many years (about 14 years to be exact) likely due to lung injuries from his work. They then tell me they're not seeing sick patients (which I don't understand who they're caring for if it isn't sick patients). I explained he wasn't sick but was given the same answer again. I don't understand who they're caring but if they don't wish to have new patients they should just say that. Years of making appointments for my patient as a registered nurse and I've never got such a confusing response. The person on the phone was nice and I don't believe was attempting to be rude but didn't want to seem to believe that my husband wasn't sick.
