Understanding the covid issue, the greeting desk at the door should be placed 18 feet from the entrance. There is an entire empty lobby space but they decide to put their desk immediately inside the entrance with no option to stand six feet apart. One person waiting in the vestibule and everyone else has to wait outside.nStaff are also EXCEEDINGLY rude at this location.nWould recommend going elsewhere.

This review is for the updated location @110 E Midland Trail. We had an appointment last week in the afternoon. There were already 8-10 in line a head of us (in and out) of the building. The line barely moved and they had only 3 staffed counters. They had 2 additional people directing people directing people where to stand, which was one too many! We were outside for 1 1/2 hours before we were let in the building to start that maze. Everyone's transactions took 15-30 minutes plus. We were out 3 hours later! They are understaffed and too slow! Same transaction at other DMV's (during Covid and with appointment) takes 10 minutes, when I compared the experience with others.

The Walmart of DMV 7 New windows and 1 woman working. Had an appointment and there were still 8 people ahead of me. Chair was there was told it was not for me I had to wait outside.nSame old rude a#! women been working there since I got my learners permit 30 years ago! Never a pleasant experience at Lexington DMV.

This address location has closed, they have moved to a new address. Failed to post the address on the existing location.

The very nice people at the Lexington DMV could use more help. Five stations, two employees working the counter and a room full of customers (plus those waiting outside) does not equal a productive working environment. Despite my five hour wait, the process of registering my vehicle and transferring my license itself went very smoothly.
