Excellent Food. Excellent Atmosphere! Loved the Bison Ribeye (the special that day) and it was phenomenal. I went with the chefs suggested Medium Rare and she did not disappoint. It was perfect! The piano was such a nice touch and was not overly loud so we still were able to carry on a nice conversation. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive. Parking was very easy too. I look forward to returning when we are back in the area.

Hands down, Haywood’s is the go to restaurant in Lexington for a romantic evening. The piano touched both of us and drew a few tears as we spent our evening talking over a few glasses of red wine. The atmosphere is cozy and the wine is delicious. The food is phenomenal and the price is very fair considering we got a bottle of willamette valley red, an appetizer, desert, and coffees. Highly recommend.

We made reservations in advance, but got seats in a high chair table, which we requested to change but they couldn't accommodate us. I suggest the restaurant to differentiate tables in the reservation system. The appetizer we ordered (cheese and charcuterie) was no longer available, and we were only told that after we ordered. The main entrees were well cooked. At desert time, the option we ordered was also unavailable. Overall, hard to judge the food quality as we planned to order items but couldn't try them.

Absolutely fabulous dinner and atmosphere. Stephanie was so helpful getting us a spot. We enjoyed it so much we are visiting it again before we leave. Super friendly staff. You won’t be disappointed. Our waiter Chris was on point and awesome! The piano player made wonderful vibe.

Great taating dinner and friendly waiter. The chef came out to our table to see how we liked everything once dinner was finished. We had reservations and we were seated in the bar area. There was a piano player who was loud for the space. Walking distance to VMI and Washington and Lee.
