First we booked this hotel so we could have the pool. No where on their page did it say the pool was closed. As I entered the pool which had no closed sign on it the little Dutch boy working the desk decided to be ignorant with a major attitude. The room had a smell of greasy food to which we had to buy candles to mask the odor. I will never stay at the hotel again

All I can say is it was a great stay! I wish I knew the lady's name that checked us in. She was very professional and her customer service skills were amazing!

We came here to continue our weekend getaway after a horrible experience in another hotel. This place was clean, up to date, and spacious. I was not afraid to let my baby crawl on the floor or sit the the bathtub. The breakfast was great too. Lots to choose from and the man running it was so sweet and helpful. The location is perfect too, stores and restaurants right next door!

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL! I would have given the property 0 stars if I could have. They are pocketing what can only be categorized, given their policies, as essential funds for continued operations - $1,861 for rooms which I no longer need due to COVID.nnMy fiance and I booked a number of hotel rooms (through Booking.com, all refundable with the exception of 4) in January 2020, well before the impact of COVID was apparent for a trip in October. The guests for which the rooms were originally needed, are no longer able to take the trip due to COVID-related travel restrictions.nnI spoke with Booking.com about the cancellation process and what would be possible. Booking.com indicated that they can start the cancellation process (and would) if Country Inn and Suites agreed to it with the given situation for the 4 originally non-refundable rooms. Booking.com has been courteous and helpful on their customer service calls.nnI spoke with the Country Inn and Suites who indicated that their policy does not allow for any refunds even with the current COVID-environment. They denied any refund whatsoever. I then decided to speak with Radisson Corporate to see whether they could perhaps show some empathy for the situation and direct their local hotel site in Lexington to provide some type of refund. I even told them I would accept a voucher for 1 room for a later date, which they refused of course. The corporate office (which used a tone with me that suggested they couldn't wait for the call to be over) indicated refunds are a Booking.com decision, which is not correct or accurate. However, Corporate did call the front desk of Country Inn and Suites Lexington and named a specific person with which Booking.com could contact to discuss. Corporate also indicated that the local hotel stated that no conversation ever happened with Booking.com previously (suggesting that I might be lying) but Booking.com has records of multiple attempts to resolve this issue on file.nnBooking.com did then contact them again to try and resolve the issues (on the day of this posting) to which Country Inn and Suites once again refused any type of refund.nnThe point of this, is that having to have cancelled multiple trips and travel plans this year, no other hotel, travel agency, or otherwise, has been so crass, rude, an unwilling to offer some kind of refund for rooms which are no longer needed during a health pandemic. I encourage you to find anywhere else to stay unless you enjoy being treated poorly. It clearly feels as though they are happy to have trapped someone in a scenario where they don't have to refund them.

Room was clean enough, but ask for a room facing the back of the hotel! Traffic too noisy facing road!
