My wife and I came here to celebrate her birthday and our wedding anniversary (both in March) and had a delightful time. The room was super clean and comfortable. The heated bathroom floor and towel bar were a nice touch and along with the heavy and cozy robes. We enjoyed touring the sites around Lexington while in town. This hotel is within walking distance to all of the local sites and only 20 minutes from some great hiking trails and the Natural Bridge. The breakfast was good and the entire staff were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or just visiting the area with friends or family.

Our stay at the Georges was great. The staff (especially Rebecca) is very helpful and is their to insure you have a great time while visiting their town.nWhile staying at the Georges we visited the bar attached to it (Taps) a few times. Bill was very attentive and quickly learned our preferred drinks. Great service throughout our time at The Georges. We will be returning!

2 yrs ago we had 2 rooms booked for 7 day stay. We're heading down I64 to check in, and I get word my Dad had stroke. Call to cancel, and couldn't have been more understanding. Will never forget their kindness. We will return soon.

My friend and I recently discovered that Taps Restaurant has a terrace for outdoor dining. Even though it was incredibly hot today, we sat outside. Our table had shade from the umbrella, and one of the staff put together a new oscillating fan and placed it near us. It was quite lovely. And the food was excellent. I ate almost every bite of my salad! My friend enjoyed the fish and chips.

The simple salad was very good. But, service was fantastic. Everyone was polite and attentive. We elected to sit out back, were there was plenty of social distance.nPrices were very reasonable.nEspecially considering quality of ingredientsnAnd level of service.nHope to stay at hotel next visit to W&L.
