Absolutely wonderful place to walk. The main path is roughly 5 miles. If you add in the optional loops it ends up being 10.5 miles. I know because I did that today. ud83dude0annUpdate 01/19/2021: It seems that only dog owners are required to clean up after their companions here. It is amazing how much horse poo is on the path now. It is a shame there isn't more respect for this wonderful trail. If you are in a car, you are okay. If you are walking or running you need to keep your eyes open. Shameful.
This is a nice relaxing place to visit. You can hike bike or drive the tour
Only safe place to exercise in this part of York Co. I just wish they would make it off limits to vehicles Sat and Sun morning.
This place is gorgeous. Just a few minutes off crowded roads it seems to be a different world. If you love beautiful landscapes plus history you won't regret it.
What a cool piece of history. I've been there many times but just recently figured out that there's a button you can push which plays a loud story over the loudspeaker of the surrender. Unfortunately the whole set up there is dilapidated and looks forgotten. The landscaping is awful. There are mature wasp nests all over it. It needs a major facelift.
