Thousand trails chesapeake bay rv resort at one time had two pools, one for families and a smaller one for adults only. They also had a lounge for adults only to go into in order to engage in an activity in a peaceful setting. Both of these amenities are important and to me separated Chesapeake Bay from the rest of the pack because there is a proportionate number of seniors who camp there as well as families with youngsters. Now, due to a policy change, all amenities are open to anyone regardless of age. All one has to do is visit the game room there in order to observe what happens when unsupervised kids are turned loose in a place like that. Within a month after this policy change it was reported that the former adult pool was shut down for one day due to fecal matter in the pool. I regret that my days of having a Thosand Trails membership are numbered. I used to be so proud of this campground but now it appears that Thousand Trails is following the trend of a culture that is afraid they might offend somebody. Well guess what?
