Tidewater Motel

Bugs and horrible service, wouldn't give me clean towns. Owner said this is not the type of place. Then said I need to clean before I check out. Paid q week and only stayed 4 nights. Never will stay here. Terrible and horrible place. Stay away

Will never stay here. Made a reservation online with booking.com arrived to the location and showed the owner/manager whatever he is my confirmation and he immediately got upset like I did something wrong and said he didn't receive it. I said ok well can I still get a room because my card was not charged. He then proceeded to tell me I needed to cancel the reservation before he will let me get a room so I asked him how do I do that because there was nothing on the confirmation telling me I could cancel it actually said I couldn't cancel but he was insisting I cancel. He refused to help me and told me to ring the bell once I cancelled and then he went upstairs. I finally figured out how to cancel but i had to request a free cancellation and I got a message saying it was sent to him and he would have to approve it. I rang the bell once again, he came back down and I attempted to show him the message it gave me. He wouldn't even look at it and told me to wait 10mins until he was finished eating. By the way he had an attitude the entire time. So I asked him what the issue was and why was he being so rude and why did I have to wait 10mins in the cold for him to finish eating? At that time a delivery guy walked up with pizza and he waved him up to the window as if I wasn't standing there. So I asked him again what is your issue and why are giving me such a hard time. He told me while rasing his voice if I couldn't wait then I could go somewhere else. At that time my husband got out of the car and asked what was going on and he said to me I'm eating wait 10mins or leave. I asked why do I have to wait 10mins for you to eat and why are you being so rude when all I did was ask to get a room. He then turned the lights out, locked the door, and closed his window in my face. I still have no idea what he was so upset about the only thing I can think is he was upset about me booking online which I don't understand why but needless to say I will never go here again. It was cold, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and you're telling me to wait 10mins for you to eat. I wouldn't even give this motel 1star but I had to in order to leave this review. The motel is no way near nice enough to be treated like that and he doesn't even deserve to be in business with that attitude and there is no pool.

Man this place really need to step their game up on a scale of 1 to 10 I don't know how much they suck

Place is dirty chairs blinds bathroom had bugs blinds was broken and dirty it was dark brown like its been there forever its dusty the lamps didnt work i dnt kno how they passes inspection dont take your kids there its unsanitary
