I stayed here with some friends in the Butterfly Room and Yorktown Suite. Amy and Paul are perfect hosts and the rooms were so clean. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing out there and reading. The Inn is only a five minute or less walk to the York River—ideal location. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We love staying here!
Clean, lovely rooms, so close to the Riverwalk in Yorktown that we walked to the the beach several times a day. The hosts were welcoming, friendly, and made us feel at home. We had amazing breakfasts and loved all the accommodations. Cutest place ever. Will be back!
It was the nicest bed-and-breakfast we have ever stayed in. Amy and Paul were lovely hosts. The breakfast was phenomenal also. We highly recommend this exquisite bed and breakfast.
Wonderful B&B in the heart of Yorktown. Friendly hosts, clean/comfy room and close to many enjoyable tourist attractions.
The Marl Inn is a treasure. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with a subtle theme of birds and butterflies. The grounds are well kept with an active apiary. Visited off season, and the quiet beauty of Yorktown was much appreciated. The Inn borders National park land, so it’s a quiet street. Easy walk to in town or the Batlefield museum. Because of food allergies, we did not partake in Amy’s breakfast, and the in suite kitchen is partly what attracted us. I suspect her breakfast is wonderful, as she is a very gracious host. We will be returning next year as could only stay for a couple nights this visit.
