Coach's Neighborhood Grill

We come here about once or twice a month now a days. Its got friendly staff, amazing dollar to food ratio, and really good food. I could eat the store out of their french fries. I think it was a valued asset to the area, and one of my new favorite semi local eateries.

Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food was pretty good. Visited a couple days ago. The waitress was terrible; one of the worst I've ever had. She came to our table while putting another order in, which in itself isn't that bad but I should've seen the red flag there. She kept sitting down chatting with another group of customers more than once. Instead of a draft menu, gave my boyfriend the touch pad (not sanitized) to look thru. She also didn't check ID. Took forever to get his beer, pretty sure our appetizer came before his drink. Speaking of, it took so long to get the blue cheese dressing we requested for our appetizer. She took our entree order and didn't put it in correct(?), so the manager had to come ask us what we got. Took way longer than it should have to get our food, but it was delicious! We got our entrees but she forgot to bring out my salad, so I ended up taking the whole thing home. Had to wait another eternity to just get boxes! I asked for a to-go cup for my drink but when it didn't come out with the boxes, we said screw it and left. Overall we were there for around 2 hours because of how long it took her to do everything. She blamed them being busy, but there weren't that many people in her section. If you were that busy you wouldn't be sitting down chatting with customers when you have others to wait on. Wish I'd caught her name because IF we ever go back, we're requesting not to sit in her section.

The food was good the service was horrible my son's food came 10 minutes after the rest of our food my salad came after I ate my steak my wife's drink didn't come until we were almost ready to walk out the door and my uncle had to mix his own drink. On top of all this we never got any refills on any drink

Our server Mary was the best ❤ufe0f Very sweet and helpful with the menu, we had a manager come around and ask us about the food, Alexis, what a pleasant attitude and face for coaches, will definitely be back! Food and service equally amazing !!

So we walk in the door and they're pretty dead. Maybe 4 tables sat? 2 there are 2 waiters running about as we stood there for nearly 10 minutes with a man who had already been standing there for 5 or so. Finally someone comes to seat us, he tells us which tables were available and told us to take our pick. We sat for a few moments longer than I would have liked for the waitress to get our drink order. We decided we needed a couple of extra minutes so my boyfriend could really decided on an appetizer. She took 10-15 minutes to return and the guy that had came in before us was apparently a new manager who hasn't started yet and ensured us that things would change. I hope so because my boyfriend ordered his burger medium rare, the waitress brings the food but tells him he has to wait because they overcooked the first Burger. It finally comes and it was basically mooing. This isn't a stake, it's ground meat. He tried cutting into it and it just mushed and stuck to the knife.
