I called about a late package and talked to a man named Bruce. He was beyond helpful and respectful. He helped me with everything i needed and gave me helpful info about package shipping. I’m glad i had a good experience with the post office and will be returning for future business!

Lived in the same place for 2 years, never had an issue with delivering my packages to my door before! Now consistently pink slip after pink slip! Refuses to drop off packages to my door, doesn’t matter if you have an employee talk to the manager! Nothing has changed, extremely disrespectful and lazy!

On 28 October I contacted the Post Office located at 2344 George Washington Memorial Hwy reference a delivery that day. I had purchased 4 very expensive books @ $120.00 each. The box containing the books was placed on my porch with the top completely ripped off. It was obvious the books had fallen out at some point as two were scratched and the corners dirtied. The carrier had not rung the door bell or left any explanation as to what had occurred. The only way I knew there was a package is my daughter observing someone scurrying quickly across the yard. I spoke to a Lynleigh French at the post office. I explained the situation to her and she committed to calling me back after speaking to the carrier. I had not heard from her by the next morning and decided to call the main post office. I spoke to a very helpful man named Bruce who stated he would call the other post office and have someone contact me. I had called myself and continued to receive a busy signal. About an hour later Lynleigh French called me back and stated she had attempted to call me 8 times. I stated I had no messages or calls indicated on my phone. She offered no resolution only admitting there should have been some type of sticker on the box indicating it had arrived in that condition. In her opinion I should contact Amazon although the box came through the US Postal service. On 30 October I received an email from Lynleigh stating the issue had been resolved and the appropriate measures taken. A text book answer probably uttered many times. Therefore who is responsible for the damage to my very expensive books? Of course no one is accepting responsibility.nIt’s taken me a while to address this again as we have experienced the death of a very dear friend and my husbands health relapse. I do have to add that we have lived at our address since 1989 and this is the first time I have had such a disappointing experience with the post office.

I don’t understand why a package arrives at this post office at 6am one day, and I do not receive a locker key or notification card until sometime the following day?
