I went to Pivot because my wife loved Jackie. I worked with Mike and have been very happy with the level of service and knowledge I received. I highly recommend Pivot.

I’ll bet lots of people check the reviews before choosing a Physical Therapist, so I thought I’d put a recommendation in for Pivot in Falls Church, VA. This is my second time using them, so that should tell you something right there. First was a tear of a quad that was not big enough to require surgery, and this time Achilles tendon pain. I would classify both experiences as resounding successes. Both were 7-week regimes, twice a week. Mike was my therapist, and he was awesome. Super friendly, but importantly, not to the point that it did not feel genuine. He worked me hard (or at least I thought so), but never pushed, especially at the beginning when there was a lot of pain / discomfort. I absolutely felt like I was getting my money’s worth. They have a ton of equipment, percussion guns, Stim, K-tape, you name it. Bottom line, great experience (just finished 2 days ago), and if you do what they say, both at Pivot and at home, there is a good chance you will get better!

Michael Wirtz at Pivot Physical Therapy has done an outstanding job helping me with shoulder pain. Before my first visit, I couldn’t get my arm into a sleeve without severe pain. Under Michael’s care, my shoulder has improved dramatically and almost to its pre-injury state. Michael figured out the cause of my pain on the first visit, provided hands-on therapy that brought relief each time I saw him, and recommended exercises and strengthening that brought continuous improvement starting within a week or two of my beginning treatment. I cannot recommend Pivot PT highly enough!

The team at Falls Church are VERY welcoming! Michael Wirtz is an outstanding therapist. He is professional, kind, caring, informative, and truly knows his work. I highly recommend him. You will be secure and enjoy your path to recovery. I can't imagine being in better hands. My visits seem like a blessing from God.

Billing is a complete and utter scam. Fraudulent charges sprinkled here and there, incorrectly inputted information, incorrect billing to insurances that I was then penalized for all while getting the run around and unable to have any sort of actual resolution over the course of multiple years. It makes me wonder how many others have such charges, perhaps unknowingly on their account and are just paying it because they are none the wiser. I ended up cutting my losses and paid the incorrect bills. Despite herculean effort on my part to get billing to deal with their mistakes regarding insurance claims and dollar discrepancies (by contacting people within the actual pivot therapy office and through countless emails and phone calls to billing) I came up completely empty handed. Will never be stepping foot inside a pivot ever again. Please use my experience as a cautionary tale. No one should be operating their business in this egregious manner - period. You can't cover it up with a nice store front and physical therapists with decent bedside manner forever. I am not one to ever leave reviews, especially not negative ones. However, if my review can deter you from going to any of the pivot therapy centers and perhaps looking into more trustworthy, transparent institutions then all this trouble will have been almost worth it.
