Was here about a year ago and decided to post my experience now. So much to see and me and my family experienced everything in one day that this building holds. I had such an amazing and memorable time that I brought my best girlfriend with me to experience this rich history of Black and African Americans.nHours upon hours can be spent inside here. The outside of the building is exquisite and captivating as well as the interactive inside. Oh man! Check out the gift shop. I could go on about this place. On visit isn’t enough. I’m telling you facts right now. The people at the information (I didn’t need assistance)are so polite, respectful, positive, and professional. Check it out for yourself. You’ll come back again. I know you will.
My experience here was great. I went by myself and actually couldn't find my ticket (on a slow day) so the people at the front just let me go in. The information is amazing. The museum was clean and staff was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was pretty good and even during a slow day, the line/wait was long. I didn't get to see everything and hope to visit again soon.
I continue to visit the NMAAHC for it is vital to learn about the African American/Black experience, our past and our tremendous contribution not only to America but to the world. Everyone who can must visit, it is life changing and awe inspiring. I will continue to make this museum visit a must to remember and celebrate my Blackness.
This is A-BA-SO-LOOT-LEE our VERY FAVORITE Smithsonian Museum! Incredible visuals, audio, and tastes of every relevant African American experience that you can think of neatly packed into several floors of AWESOMENESS! We spent 7 hours there during our visit and wanted to stay longer! Can't wait to go back!
Very interesting, worth a visit definitely
