I love the place is big the space is big and clean the people are amazing the lake is beautiful and it so much to doo here there is area for kids to play and have fun.... the bathroom is very nice and clean and it have heat on the bathroom so dad is a plus for me I love the place and I bee back ❤ ud83dude0d ♥

Lovely scenery surrounded by lakes and a pond. Sites were a decent size and overall it was a great experience. Have been twice and will visit again.

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of our Thousand Trails membership. Full hookups but only 30amp power. We got a great site A49 by the river. Nobody was staying in the cabins next to us and we only had 1 other camper near us.nnThe campground is a typical Thousand Trails park. You drive around until you find a spot and then let them know where you parked. The roads are mostly dirt except for the main entry road. So in the rain (it rained 3 days while we were there) it can get a bit muddy. But we still rode our bikes around and found a fun trail back in the woods.nnThe closest Walmart is about 25 minutes away although there is a Food Lion about 15 minutes away. The roads are typical narrow Virginia roads with no shoulder and pretty windy through the trees. But drive a bit slower when you're towing and you'll be fine.nnThe resort is divided into sections (A, B, C, D, E, etc.) and only a few of the sections are full 50amp hookups. The rest are 30amp, water, sewer. Unfortunately the best sites along the river are all 30amp. We still opted for a smaller 30amp site just for the views because the sunset on the river is pretty magical.

Nancy and I always enjoy this campground on the river. History all around us. Nice people. Best miniature golf EVER! Nice amenities including ice cream right there at the camp store. Great
