Araceli! I just want to say thank you so much for your great accommodation and empathy when you suggested restaurants for us after a long day of traveling and hunger. Also thank you for dealing with the noise that we complained about for the room right next door. Araceli handled the complaint with a lot of professionalism and a calm demeanor. If Araceli represents the professionalisms and hospitality of governor housing inn then I would definitely be a life long guest. Also the breakfast was amazing. The place was clean and well kept. The management was great. Jocelyn was also great, very professional and nice. Thank you for helping me have a great stay.
my in-laws always stay here when they are in town and they love the place I've never stayed there but I picked them up there frequently and it is very nice.
Don’t be deceived by the pictures — the staff is rude, the rooms are filthy, the property is dated, and cleaning staff needs training
It was ok. I was first checked into a kind of dark and scary room in the back of the property, but when I asked to be moved I was in the front next to the lobby. VERY basic. Everything worked fine. Kind of a dark room because one big wall was brick, so there were not enough outlets for more lamps, and charging things, etc. VERY clean with attention to details like a little flower on the toilet paper, perfectly folded sheets and towels. The lobby area does not have much except an ice machine. Overall good value for the money. I felt relatively safe as a single female traveling alone.
Such a cute historic hotel in downtown Arlington. You are next to everything from shops to cafes & restaurants. Plenty of parking with a pool right out front. The staff helped me get checked in early to get ready for an event after a long drive up and was nothing short of helpful and kind during my stay.
