Departure dock for the fast ship to Nantucket by steamship authority. Could use a little better signage but otherwise fine. Quick, clean ferry, pretty empty on the morning ride to Nantucket but fairly full on the 6:15pm return trip. Round trip on the same day was $50 and felt like enough time to see and do everything I wanted on the island. Parking was an additional $15.

The service on the boat was average , concern arose when noticed that the seats were not separated 6 feet , I believe MÁ is on stage 3 so the seats were to be blocked in between but they weren’t , a lot of passengers without mask and employees had no control over this , that is my health concern for COVID 19 , then the bus shuttle in the night was a nightmare , I will explain: the Driver in the noon time said to us they we can ask the driver in the night to drop us before the parking lot not to walk too much because my wife has a recently knee surgery . Now when we ask the night driver to drop us before the parking lot he started to scream At me like crazy in front of the rest to the passengers saying that this bus was not a city bus and that his union rules don’t allow him to do that stop because again he is not a city workernHe never let me explain the reason why we want to step out of the bus before he was extremely rude and disrespectful , we are tourists visiting this beautiful place and we never have expect thisnHe was driving. This summer I’d give your service a 0 if I can! There is a limited capacity on certain vessels but a whole lot of overbooking and ticket sales as if we are boarding a cruise liner.nCertainly unable to be physically separated from other passengers unless you are boarding with a vehicle and you stay in your car. I am extremely disappointed. Staff is rude and they bicker and argue on the platform. It’s just pathetic.

Google maps takes you to School St and you cannot get to the ferry terminal. Need to go back to the main street and go around, which can take a long time at the height of the season. Google maps: please fix this!
