We have been to a few different Ripley’s museums, and they are always worth a visit! This one seemed a little smaller than the other ones, but there were still many interesting things to see that have been collected from around the world!nnThey also have a 4D movie that sprays you with water and tickles your ankles. It was cute, but it is definitely more geared towards kids! The kids in the theater loved it, but the older people were less enthusiastic.nnThey also have a few interactive exhibits and games to play, so it’s fun for the whole family!
We visited on a whim and are eager to return! With your ticket to the museum you get an entry for the laser maze and Atomic Rush, but all throughout the museum were several skill testing games that kept my kids well entertained. We splurged for a 4D theater viewing which was fun. A great place if you find yourself in Williamsburg with several hours to kill!
Small building, but has quite a few really cool things to see. Also had a laser game that is for the agile, and Atomic Rush which is essentially DDR with your hands. It also had small mini games throughout the exhibits. Good for the price. Also visited the 4D theater for 2 showings and was a little underwhelmed with that as it is essentially a 3D movie with air and water that corresponds with what you're watching, instead of a traditional 4D theater with moving seats for a more immersive experience. Great experience, especially for younger kids.
We spent two hours here with the kids looking at all the amazing artifacts from around the world. Plenty of things to keep the kids and adults interested, including the 4-D movie. Our favorite part was the spinning tunnel, it made for some great home videos.
Seen some interesting stuff at the museum. I've been to much bigger Ripley's before, but this one was nice also. As a adult, I really loved the 4D movie.
