Courtney and her team have always treated me and my family with the utmost respect and professionalism. I've been a client of Colonial CPA for about four years.nnI own a (very) small business and work as a 1099 contractor, so taxes can get a little hairy for me. The peace of mind that comes with trusting them to help me pay the appropriate amount of taxes really takes a load off my back during tax season.nnBalances due during tax season and quarterly estimated taxes are made astonishingly easy as they walk you through everything step-by-step: the team here makes their expectations of their clients clear and easy to adhere to. If at any time they need more information from me, they reach out either through email or phone promptly.nnI intermittently ask specific or general financial questions throughout the year and they're able to respond usually within one business day, if not immediately. Super responsive even though I'm probably nowhere near a VIP client for them.nnLook nowhere else, these folks take care of ALL their clients!

We have used this company for a few years. The first year was pretty good service with great communication. The next went downhill in terms of communication. Finally this year (both before and after COVID) the company didn't respond to email or phone calls about the tax return in a timely manner (took 3 weeks to get responses back). Finally, this year Colonial CPA made a gigantic error and didn't own up to it, and blamed us (I have never had a company blame a customer for their mistake). Repeated emails and messages about their mistake weren't returned over the span of a month. After finally getting the boss on the phone, all she did was deflect. Stay away!nnResponse to owner: Unfortunately you didn't follow your processes with us, and I understand that mistakes happen. All that was done was the person at the front desk handed us the folder with all of our paperwork and take our payment.
