Dr. Cannon is a specialist in podiatric medicine with practice in Falls Church, VA. Although the office is small, it is busy and conveniently located, with parking immediately adjacent to the building. Although I've known Dr. Cannon only in a professional setting and for just a few years, it's easy to see that he quickly puts one at ease. Based on my experience and observation, I've found him to be very well informed on a wide variety of topics. Because I am not a medical professional, I particularly appreciated the way he informed me of his diagnosis and proposed plan of treatment - and pleased that he is my doctor!

The main complaint with this office is shady billing practices! I suggest you go else where. Out of nowhere he replaced his entire staff! The people working now are not very helpful, RUDE at times and do not return calls. The doctors are laser focused on squeezing as much $ as possible out of your pockets. They push over priced orthotics, leg/ankle braces and other devices, all of which you can get at CVS or Walgreens for MUCH LESS! This place is more about sales than anything else.

Disappointing experience. I hate to give a local business a bad review however I have tried contacting the owner and never got a response. My issue here isn't with the doctors but with the office management, practices, and COVID-19 safety protocols. I will be looking for care elsewhere.nnFirstly, the office is poorly managed and organized. Half of the time I called, making an appointment was near impossible because the person answering the phone couldn't do so. They took a message with my preferred appointment day but I was never called back. Similarly, when I needed an MRI order sent to an MRI clinic, this office was hard to reach and couldn't seem to figure out their system for sending the order.nnSecondly, I have issue with the lack of patient education on the potential costs of the treatment they provide. I was given first an ankle brace and at my second appointment, a orthopedic book. I wish at that point that they had told me that the billing company they use charges $300 for a medical boot ($40 at a drugstore). Of course, they cannot know how much of that my insurance would cover but if I had known the exorbitant cost, I would have taken the time to call my insurance and verify how much they will cover.nnLastly, during a pandemic, I would expect a medical practice to have better COVID protocols. Most of the appointments I have gone to during this time at other practices function similarly. You call from outside and they tell you to come in when they are ready for you. At FC Foot and Ankle, the waiting room is very small and at one point, I was sitting in there for over 15 minutes with 3 other patients, about 3 feet apart. For me, that is unacceptable.

Dr. Cannon is the best foot doctor I've worked with. He knows exactly what he is doing and he is also very personable. After a few years of troubles with the cartilage under my big toe and with my achilles tendon, he provided the right treatment and solutions to fix the pain so I can start running and exercising again without issues. Probably the best foot doctor in NOVA/DC area. Highly recommended!

I went to Dr. Cannons office to get a new pair of orthotics so they asked me to pay $200 at front and $200 the day of pick up, which I thought it was a lot of money but I ended up paying for it because my feet was in a lot of pain. The day of pick up, I asked the MA how much the office paid for them and she said about $100plus. I couldn't believe it, he basically triple the money he paid for them.nLow sympathy to patients and a very greedy person for sure.nTerrible service, I wouldn't recommend him and I am never going back!!
