Wonderful park. Has a great trail for walking/running/biking. If you have a boat, bring one, though there restrictions on the types you can bring.nnThere’s also golf and fishing available. Renting a boat is seasonal, so check if the marina is open before you go.

Great park for the family. Lots of trails with a playground, train, carousel, and boat rental. There are activities planned throughout the year which are great for kids.nThere isn't really anything negative that I can think of other than occasional crowds.nThere is a lot to do here!

Burke Lake Park didn’t disappoint. This gorgeous 218-acre lake park right outside of Road 7100 in Fairfax VA is well maintained and clean. Ideally for fishing, boating, camping and pickings with children.nThey have rowboat rental and a miniature train that goes around the lake.

Burke Lake Park is a great place to go for any kind of outdoor activity. From Walking/Running/Jogging, Biking, or even just Pokemon Go. There are clear paths and plenty of benches to spend a day in nature. There are some paved places for skating or rollerblades, but be aware there are more dirt and gravel paths than not. Also, scattered throughout are several places for children to play, and pretty views of the lake. I didn't see it this trip but if I remember correctly there is also a pretty good frisby golf course on the south (?) side of the park. Plenty of road side parking near the trails.nnCheck it out if you can and enjoy the fall weather!

Make sure you know all of the limits this area has before going. Do not expect to do anything but walk the trails.
