I am a rider at woodpecker farm and apart of their IEA team. Woodpecker farm is a wonderful place. It is like a home there filled with amazing horses and people. I am proud to say that this place is one of my homes. The trainers there are so kind and helpful. They have helped me grow into a better equestrian, student, friend, and teammate. They not only teach you great horse management skills but they teach you good life skills as well. They took me in with welcoming arms and helped me reach my full potential. I will continue riding at this lovely barn. I highly recommend this barn to any riders. The horse are amazing and well cared for, the helpers are sweet and mature about everything they do. The atmosphere there is like no other. Thanks to Beth, Elizabeth, Bill, and the rest of out family, everyone there is able to grow and achieve out goals together.
Choosing to learn how to ride at Woodpecker Farm has been one of the best decisions that I have made. Over the course of 2 1/2 years, Elizabeth and Beth have taught not only taught me how to ride but they have taught me how to be a good horsewoman. Since learning to ride, I have made many new friends and feel like part of the Woodpecker Family. As an adult student, riding a 1000lb animal can be pretty scary and they have helped me overcome my fears and become a more confident equestrian.
The previous reviewer must be from a competing farm; NOTHING about those comments is true. The facility is clean, extremely well maintained, spacious and secure. I've never seen an underweight or unhealthy horse here and I've been a boarder for years. My animals are loved, well cared for and meticulously attended to! Beth is an amazing equestrian and treats her animals, riders, and clients with TLC. We highly recommend Woodpecker Farm!
I can't say enough good things about Woodpecker farm. Beth is very friendly and knowledgeable. She spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions and helping me choose options for boarding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for lessons, boarding and a place to ride. It is absolutely beautiful.
2 weeks ago we celebrated a friend’s birthday at Woodpecker Farm and had a blast! Pictorials after pictorials around the beautiful scenery of the farm. Horseback riding is awesome. The staff were very friendly especially Beth. Way to go Beth. I’m sure I’ll be going back one of these days!
