Complete professionalism from start to finish. On time, happy, courteous, helpful, professional, and worked extremely hard without wasting time. From Kate coordinating the move over several months with a moving target to the movers and drivers, they all did an amazing job, making it much less stressful for our family. From VA to FL, or anywhere they go, I would recommend J Barber without a moment to think about it. They are rockstars!!

Kate and the whole team at J Barber Moving and Storage did a fabulous job on our recent move from King George to the Eastern Shore. Their packing team was efficient and made a stressful day almost enjoyable. Storage and delivery to the new address was right on time and they took great care not to damage anything in our brand new home. The few hiccups that inevitably happen in a move of this size were handled promptly and with great care. Highly recommend J Barber!

We recently moved from one historic home with many antiques and over 6,000sqft to another home a mile away which was equally as large. The whole experience from start to finish with J. Barber was top notch! Kate was checking in and keeping me informed throughout, the gentleman doing the survey was respectful, the quote I received was fair and competitive, however, the best part was the actual move. It was well into the 90s and the team of 6 never once complained. Everything was moved and wrapped to perfection, furniture was disassembled and reassembled while keeping track of parts, floors and doors were protected, and they wouldn't let me move or lift a finger and wouldn't leave until they were sure everything was placed exactly as I wanted it. I will never use another moving company again...J. Barber is the best!

J. Barber is the best company I've ever used in a move. I've had several military moves and a few civilian moves. My recent move with Barber was by far my best moving experience. Working with Manager Kate to estimate and schedule the move was a pleasure. She was responsive, professional, and friendly. The moving crew was professional and extremely careful in protecting not only my household goods but also the flooring, walls, and door-frames. We have another small move and have already contacted Barber. Kate is helping us with that move as well. Highly recommended.
