My family and I went to Chico's Natural Pet Market to see about adopting a cat. The young lady helping us was friendly and polite. However, the owner was pretentious and rude to not only us but to other customers. She tried to tell my husband that if he wanted to adopt a cat, he had to feed the cat only pet food from her store. The she denied us adoptions because my husband had problems from standing in the store for 2 hours. My 82 year old Mother-In -law was in tears because she had bonded with one of the cats. My family has never been treated so rudely in a retail store and there are disability laws that were totally ignored. I would advise to never set foot in this store of overly priced merchandise and an extremely rude owner.

My dachshund has always had a Chico's Natural Pet Market. Recently I moved and temporarily had to get a regular one and it was bulky and loud and I was so happy when my new Chico's Natural Pet Market came. Nothing else compares.

Great small local business. Support them all you can and buy the cats some food too!

This is a nice store, unfortunately everytime we go in, we have had issues when trying to order food for our pups, only the owner can look up prices for food orders, only owner can place ordera, if the owner is not there...you either have to come back or call til you can catch him in the store. Today we showed up to the store at 10:05 AM and we were told we could not get in because the boss is not there...granted signs say store opens at 10...we waited for a few minutes and left.nI think it is too tightly manage by owner, and that is not beneficial to customers because you are not able to get certain transactions done if the manager or owner is not there....so about 6 times now in the last 1.5 years we have had to turn back around and go home with nothing resolved.nI keep trying because is close to home, but will certainly be looking for other store options.

Beltway aquarium is a quality fish store... I dont know what they are running in this storennI was asked a bunch of irrelevant questions when trying to buy a freshwater fish and then was denied a fish...after I called and ask them and they said yes.. I hope its not becuase im black ...I hope not
