I’ve been a member at every gym in Roanoke. I’ve never had a single issue at another gym. I’ve came to this gym on guest passes to see what the gym has to offer. I’m an avid basketball player as well as weight lifter. Every time I’m here they treat me so disrespectful and give poor communication. Today I came in to join friends for basketball. I had gotten a day pass. She notified me that the gym opened at 5:15. We all, a group of 4 came to play with a reservation. The lady then told us that we could not go into the gym till 7:15 when the gym closes at 8pm. This is just one of the many awful this that happen here on a daily. You pay $13 dollars to come and enjoy and see what a gym has to offer but then get left hung and dry because they truly do not care about any guest. I do not recommend this gym to anyone at all.

This is a 30 million dollar splash pool and expensive to operate. Seriously! What a waste of taxpayer dollars. In addition, it is not even paying for itself - still running in the red. Green Ridge does not recover its full costs from user fees.nnThe response from the owner is untrue. Check with the accounting office of the county, This is not a profitable operation. It is a taxpayer liability. Again, just check the books.

We ventured to town from Charlotte to use this indoor pool facility. Silly us we arrived at 1:45 pm and didn't know the pool wasn't open until 4 pm. As we debated on whether to stay in town and wait for the 4 pm opening, we were told that the indoor slide would be open. That excited the kids and so we came back at 4pm. By 5:15/pm the water was still cold (it was supposed to be an heated pool), there were 3 lifeguards in the office (2 on their phones) and 2 at the pool. I did ask the people at the front desk if they could open the slide and was told sure. 15 minutes more minutes past, no slide for the indoor pool.nnOverall I am just saying that for the money spent, and while Covid has part of the facility closed, it would not be worth the money.
