Fantastic half-day hike! Short but strenuous, this trail has a bit of everything - forests, inclines, rock-scrambling, and gorgeous views. I highly recommend coming up for sunset and camping. It’s also a great place to set up a hammock and read on the summit. The trail is doable for anyone fit, but can also be easily made a workout for those seeking it.

This is my favourite trail in the Roanoke area. Can be done in 2 hours if you are fast hiker. Some scrambling at the top, awesome views.

The trail head had a decent amount of parking spots and was easily to access. I passed it the first time and had to back track to it. The trail starts off as a light hike and then starts getting serious fast.nI thoroughly enjoyed the hike and will hike it again in the future.

Had a lot of fun and had pretty views, but got kinda dangerous at some points with steepness.
