Love the fact that they have a food pantry Tuesdays and Thursdays for people in need

I'm a parishioner of St. Mary's and I love the atmosphere there. I'm prior military and have been to many Catholic churches and this is the one that feels like home. Everyone is very inviting and we have a great priest. We decided to stay in this are and one of the main reasons was this church.

This was an amazing church for Easter Sunday. We went to the 1100 mass and found out there was not that many people there but it was still full. They also offered and kid's Egg hunt after that was well organized and executed.

This little church is beautiful and well kept. It is a small, warm, country parish, with a very welcoming community. The parish core of those who attend Mass during the week in addition to the Sunday obligation are wonderful folks. The Pastor is likewise warm and approachable. I love going to confession with him. The quality of the preaching is good, but the content can be overly generic at times depending on who is preaching. The Pastor's preaching is usually at the right level for his parishioners and knows his congregation well. I personally appreciate his love for the Church, the Blessed Mother, and the sacraments, especially the Eucharist and Penance. The Sunday Mass-going population will find the liturgy an average Sunday experience. However, the Catholic who appreciates a reverent and well-behaved congregation and who desires to use the time before Mass to prepare spiritually and spend some quiet moments with the Lord present in the tabernacle will probably want to attend the 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass and not the 11 a.m. Mass as the latter will be visited by those who, at least when I have gone to this Mass, exhibit a lack of reverence, awareness of others desiring to pray, and can be noisy prior to the start of the Mass (germane to this comment is that Pastors who gently remind their congregations that others are here to pray and that their noise robs God of the time these people wish to spend with him, will quiet themselves. Fellowship is great, but belongs outside the church proper.) Overall, it is a nice country parish, with nice people, beautifully kept, and a fine place to worship God.
